hi, have upgrared os 11.10. mine presario c700 wifi , ethernet. both working fine till 11.04. after upgrade wifi (ar242x / ar542x wireless network adapter (pci-express)) auto detected am able browse internet via router. have lan connection same router , ethernet (rtl-8139/8139c/8139c+) leasing ip on dhcp same router. not able access internet, can't ping router or 1 in home network. if enable wireless can these. also, if boot in winxp (dual boot) or if use live mode, works well. can support me in enabling internet on ethernet fast data transfer. regards, abhayadev s if works in live mode, guess solution clear: fresh install. half hour - problem solved.
