hi hope can help, i have installed brand new version of joomla! 3.6.5 stable. decided redesign website , @ same time upgrade latest version. installed demo modules , articles aware there differences. can not seem able view thumbnails in content/media in banners, headers or sample data, have text , box. preview not displaying , when @ front end displays icon box. can assist. sure i'm missing simple. thankyou in advance. mark i don't think sample data includes in way of images, (from recall) it's plain text sample articles. exception might default joomla logo or something. what template using? protostar or beez3 or third-party template? if it's template installs sample data, may you're not entitled use images otherwise showing in examle, author's demo , "place holder" images. however example - protostar or beez3, there images in respective template folders such "templates/protostar/images" or "templates/beez3/images." otherwise k

i have 2 sites - call them 'o' (webbasics+) , 'a' (webmarketing). template files site 'o' .dwt files while template files site 'a' .html files... far can recall created both same way; make new template in bc, download dw , pate in content.    for reason though, site 'a' refuses use .dwt files.  if upload .dwt file gets turned .html file.  if template, downloads html file dw gets mad when try use template-specific options , wants me re-save .dwt.  if upload .dwt, gets added folder bc still using .html version.   site 'o' on other hand, makes templates .dwt files.  make new blank template, save , shows in templates folder ' whatever .dwt'.  download .dwt play of template features, save no problem , re-upload .dwt.   why there difference?  don't want .html files templates... want .dwt files! if use latest bc plugins hook .dwt files of dreamweaver. bc though uses .html files templates. bc plugin converts .dwt files during upload

the idea simple, screen divided 2 independent windows (on 1 physical screen), 1 window using pointer while second 1 using pointer b. since have done similar thing using ratpoison, modified xorg, xephyr or xinerama , modified xinput virtual pointer. problem lock pointer window 1 , pointer b window 2 pointer cannot enter window 2 , pointer b cannot enter window 1. have solution or idea how achieve this? i have selected variants prefix although using xubuntu 11.04 xfce 4.8.0 recall similar problem ubuntu , gnome time before unity overhaul. per screenshot logged on today find borders of windows have vanished along minimize, maximize, , close buttons. bottom xfce panel used pop on mouseover no longer 'always on top', although strangely nautilus , other windows are, without me selecting option drop down menus. there fix, or maybe should reinstall xfce? if case sudo apt-get remove xfce , sudo apt-get install xfce? or maybe x causing problem? i think idea reinstall xfce.
