Mapping XML tags to paragraph styles that contain nested styles

i importing xml indesign (cs5.5) , tag mapping styles working fine until paragraph style contains nested style.

 

i have sentence starts number:

 

1the dog runs fast.

 

in indesing styled looks this:

 

     1  dog runs fast.

 

(tab)1(tab)the dog runs fast.

 

the number styled character style (number) , whole sentence styled paragraph style (sentence). in order tabs in between number, have nested style within paragraph style (sentence). triggers tabs when hits character style (number) this:

 

number 2 tab characters

 

in xml, looks this

 

<sentencetag><numbertag>1</numbertag>the dog runs fast.</sentencetag>

 

sentencetag mapped sentence paragrph style , numbertag mapped number character style, nested style tabs not displaying. in ind.

 

 

1the dog runs fast.

 

everything works beautifully until hit nested styles, need work somehow. appreciated.

 

thanks in advance!

a nested style not create tabs , place within text. can use pre-existing tabs markers apply nested character style.
