i trying make extrusions image.  new illustrator , have read .ai files ones can extrude in ae.  when bring in .ai file , select create shape vector layer, grey square covers shape.  assuming transparancy issue , filling in size of .ai project.  wrong though.  how can fix this? you need plain shape in ai. if you're using gradients, masks, clipping paths or other stuff won't work. please give more info , possibly screenshot of ai file.   try this. open illustrator. take pen tool , create simple shape closed path. import single layer single path file ae , see if works. if does, show screenshot of ai file , show layers , expand out groups. we'll try , help. when searching issue, wasn't able resolve problem... somehow entire public_html deleted host. restored files. my joomla directory has files backup there no configuration.php (error: no configuration file found , no installation code available. exiting...) i attempted rebuild file current joomla package (as had updated current). i believe entered correct information in regard database settings (i reset db password via cpanel). public $secret line left there installation files. but i'm not getting access site (blank white / http error 500). do have re-install site? or missing configuration file? i accessing site via ip address joomla directory while working on site (with domain pointing temporary site). any appreciated. 1. turn off sef 2. turn on error reporting can see errors. hey there, stated using robo v9 show/hide without twisties (one button) javascipts.  have of our images using dhtml drop-downs , when folks click on "show images" on page, gif changes "hide images" , drop-downs (our images) , expanding text diaplayed.   it had been working time, works when right click topic in toc , choose "edit topic", while in edit window (display view), when view (ctrl-w) , displays page within robohelp..i can click "show images" , works had.  but, if page not in edit window, , right click "preview topic", click "show images" (or on dhtml dropdown itself) not show images, *but gif image toggle "hide images" (and if again, toggles "show images" gif, if again), no images getting displayed reason.  never works when publish our website (even when clicking dhtml dropdown itself), gif images toggle properly.   if right click , choose "preview topic" , click "view with" , us

hi all; having issue lining letters create smooth line. using myriad pro text. letters in question 'n' , 'h' - both lowercase. working in cs6. hopefully these pictures explain issue:   when viewed actual size (100x)   when viewed zoomed (400x)   so question is: there way align them perfectly? or known impossible in illustrator? there workaround?   thanks bob,   using smart guides, may try to:   1) create copy of each letter , type>create outlines, 2) group each live , outlined letter (you may select outline , object>path>add anchor points), 3) move 1 group appropriate anchor point (which may 1 in middle) of outlined letter snap corresponding anchor point of other outlined letter, 4) ungroup , delete outlined letters; 5) zoom in , enjoy or shudder.   that may close can get. i have msi x58 pro bord i7 processor , 6 gb kingston memory. vga card ati radeon hd 5850 , 2 hard disk of 1 tb .power supply 700w/80 plus goldkist.os windows 7 64 bit , working sofware adobe premier cs5. when work normal footage(dv,avi) work normally. when start work ex3 footage in premiere gives problem. display dose not smooth. video pauses , plays while plays.and after time computer restart.how can solve problem? computer goes restart when using net or other work not videos. , randomly restarts not open computer on. while leave 10 15 minutes computer off , open 30 45 minutes , restarted. i'm clicking vertical scrollbar above , below scroll handle move forward , backward pagewise through document. click seems 'stick', i.e. though stop clicking, writer keeps scrolling , scrolling , scrolling... stop. number of pages scrolled not depend on number of clicks, it's not mouse buffer issue. did else experience this? remedy? thanks. greetings all, i'm looking little advice. i've built couple lightly customized xubuntu distros in past, taking off programs don't use or make room others feel more useful. it's handy able install whole setup @ once instead of having install programs individually afterward. however, i'd improve on last efforts more few more programs, , i'm facing problem: adding software pushes size of iso image on 700 mb. want keep build small enough still fit on normal cd. so, i'm trying figure out additional packages can remove basic xubuntu install without detracting system's normal functioning. suggestions? take out xchat, thunderbird, games, , built-in standard media players begin with. other packages might not missed much? takes lot of space in iso doesn't used once installed? distro i'll working xubuntu 10.04. i'd make both 32 , 64 bit versions of system flexibility. way build system making clean install of xubunt
