probably silliest question everasked beginner in absolute beginner talk section. when click on workspaces in doc, divides screen 4 parts desktop in first quadrant how change workspace? when tried clicking on other quadrants of screen nothing happens. i find setting keyboard shortcuts workspaces works better clicking (even though on 10.04, did try 11.10 awhile). i've setup alt+1, alt+2, alt+3 , alt+4 workspaces 1,2,3,4 accordingly (as example of use, may find else more efficient). better yet, remembers how use them! i've got nice old ibm infowindow 3153 working nicely ubuntu server 10.04 virtual machine (meaning yes, serial port tunneled through host, no issues). issue i'm having usage of "pages"; built-in memory terminal has, can use run different commands , "store" output in various ways. issue lies in commands produce results longer 1 screen. terminal has mode can turn on "auto pages", means if, example, "ls" command produces more 1 screen worth of results, start filling other pages in memory overflow automatically. it's pretty nice, doesn't seem have way clear pages @ once, , having data left on over various pages messes programs lynx, see remnants of stored buffers on web pages you're trying view. if turn off auto pages, can manually switch other pages run command, if command goes on 1 page length, lose overflow -- doesn't move onto empty page. i'm sure there's way

i have 3 yo imac 10.6.8. after being prompted upgrade ar, downloaded ar 11. after doing so, discovered "print dialogue box" had changed. no longer able "open pdf in preview" or "save pdf". both functions give error stating function not supported. both of these integral part of business. uninstalled ar 11, not have pdf reader. can open saved pdf's in mac preview, can not open pdf's web pages. want computer before downloaded ar 11. i not understand question is; why not install reader version had previously? hello i started testing acrobat pro xi , found terrible thing. pdf not set output intent (not pdf / x) can not find out real value contains cmyk! cmykové values vary depending on profile of simulation, useless. have pdf of illustrator cmyk values (100/20/0/0). unfortunately not know how these values can in new acrobat xi out. if file pdf / x, it's okay. more can seen in video. http://screenr.com/ivu7   it somewhere in setting off cmyk values did not change depending on profile of simulation??? thank advice   regards ales ulrych we aware of issue (cmyk values change when no outputintent present , change simulation profile) acrobat xi's output preview , plan address in future release. was wondering if guys recommend heater laptop exposed sub 0 temps time time (during local winter). wondering if made special heaters laptops (i found heating pad $129 dollars, buy heating pad @ walmart $10). so, else have take computers outside in winter? how keep them warm? can bit more specific? want keep warm when it's being stored or used? power supplies have available (12v dc or mains)? efficient thing let waste heat laptop heat itself. assuming comes somewhere warm you're storing it should able boot before battery gets cold. if there's nothing available on market neoprene sleeve , cut enough holes in ventilation.
