hi,   i having problem when import svg.  using graphics scalable stage.  vector graphic (an rectangle) , png graphics scale according width changes , height changes, properly.  mean is, if have rectangle square 100 x 100 px or png 100 x 100 px, on stage 500 x 500, if scale layout in safari 800 x 500, rectangle , png both scale disproportionately 160 x 100 px, svg stays in it's container scale 160 x 100, svg inside (background) stays @ 100 x 100 px.   i tried importing svgs img tag forum post read last night got hopes up.  don't understand why there isn't way treat svgs pngs, jpgs, or gifs.  hate container/background methodology when comes scaling svgs   i know can transform svg, transform tools not usable during resize functions of animate within open page session in browser.   so means have rasterize vectors (svgs) pngs , import, seem counterintuitive...   thanks help More discussions in Edge Animate CC adobe

hi, guys! had bad surprise couple of minutes ago, when started laptop , discovered there no sound coming neither speakers or headphones. did hibernate ubuntu 10.04 morning after reading couple of news feeds, while having breakfast. haven't manually installed new software (especially drivers' updates) in more week , today still working before hibernation. it's been couple of days since last updates came through update manager , makes no sense system worked (running , hibernating without glitches (at least none i've noticed )) couple of days after updates , stopped functioning properly. did @ sound troubleshooting (not first time because of 1)lovely t@shiba , 2)lovely s@ny. here results: is volume turned way down, or speaker muted? not. can play sound known play correctly? no. can user play 1 of these "known-good" sounds? no. s system recognizing sound card? yes. code: card 0: intel [hda intel], device

after running machine couple days without restarting, compiz , xorg seem go crazy. compiz @ constant 40-55% cpu usage without happening. xorg staying around 20-30% too. compiz using 187mb ram, whopping 1.1gb virtual memory. time click on hard drive activity spikes , action delayed, compiz needing read swap lot. can me? since it's not on reboot feels sort of memory leak issue? thanks! just ran compiz --replace , again. compiz down 8-10% cpu. guess workaround, though annoying. i'd rather solve problem. hi, i'm not expert in joomla weird happening custom html module. when enter short text, 10 words plain text in custom html module text rendered size e.g. 16px according css. however, when text longer, text rendered larger font (e.g. 20px). i can control font size sure font-size: clauses or css styles however, text doesn't resized when page rendered on mobile device. font size stays same. when enter short text in custom html, font resized fine on mobile device. issue appears if text longer , need more words put there.. any appreciated. joomla version 3.5. this css issue. if website sfw, please post link here can see problem , fix. hi all. installed kubuntu on several public school computers (they in junk heap!) sister's laptop (she's teacher @ school) , i'm running weird problem. school computers appear operating fine, thank goodness, sister's not shutting down properly. when shut down, via k menu, or code: #shutdown -h #halt the system goes through shutdown sequence , displays message "the system has halted." can hear stop, fan stops running, etc., screen not turn off, remains on screen. message, of course, shown when disable "quiet splash" in grub, otherwise hangs on kubuntu splash screen (the 1 4 dots). reboot works expected. odd thing noticed in boot / shutdown messages message code: starting system v runlevel compatibility ........ [fail] sounds pretty serious , i'm not sure it. suggestions? happy save old computers being thrown away, feel schmuck because important 1 isn't functioning , can't fix it!

hello everyone, registered while ago, can't i've been active member far hope able me out here though: built new computer, installed ubuntu 11.10, , got little problem when tried move on raid1 array consisting of 2 2tb disks ( ext4 ) computer. installed mdadm alright, silly me used mdadm --create create new array instead of mdadm --assemble (which assume would've worked perfectly?). anyway, created new raid1 array, got started, there's no filesystem on array. tried mdadm --stop , mdadm --remove delete new array, tried building new array consisting of 1 disk + 1 missing, , adding second disk. got array started, there's no filesystem on array. tried deleting new array again, deleting superblocks mdadm --zero-superblock on both disks. got little scared, ran disk check , yes both disks intact, there's identical ext4 filesystem on both of them , data there (phew!). ok, i've got 2 identical disks, both ext4 , filled exact s

i using pixeldot template , customers complaining virusscan software blocking website. particular warning about: myjoomla/templates/pixeldot/html/com_content/archive/jscript.js should delete /archive directory or jscript.js ? each template can have html folder contains template overrides, replacing default views of components , modules. overrides may installed template, or web developer may have created override after installation of template. in case looks archive view of component com_content, in other words menu item type 'archived articles', has been replaced override. however, unusual see javascript file there. jscript.js file in folder or there others, example file called default.php? check installation file of pixeldot template , see if has folder com_content/archive under html folder. if there, compare contents of folder same folder in site. if folder html/com_content/archive not installed template , did not have custom development done archived articles, site
