Thread: how to assign sounds to events

hi,

using xubuntu 11.10. can play music hardware have no event-based sound though have enabled event sounds.

how can assign sounds events login, logout or question (like in windows)?

xfce doesn't support event sounds. understand there might way jury-rig canberra xfce, looks pain install properly.
