Thread: 11.10 Compiz High CPU & VM Usage

after running machine couple days without restarting, compiz , xorg seem go crazy.

compiz @ constant 40-55% cpu usage without happening. xorg staying around 20-30% too.

compiz using 187mb ram, whopping 1.1gb virtual memory.

time click on hard drive activity spikes , action delayed, compiz needing read swap lot.

can me? since it's not on reboot feels sort of memory leak issue?

thanks!

just ran compiz --replace , again. compiz down 8-10% cpu. guess workaround, though annoying. i'd rather solve problem.

Upgrade 3.4.8 to 3.5.1 failed "download package failed" - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
