Error opening .pdf documents. Does anyone know how to resolve problem?

when trying open .pdf files message: "there error opening document. file damaged , not repaired." notice problem when others send files in microsoft outlook 2010. have windows 7 , upgraded adobe reader xi; did not solve anything. i've seen various threads on issue no definitive answer on how resolve it. please me!

sending documents email problematic; attachments can damaged or lost.

 

compressing documents zip file or other compressed format can help.  ideally documents best shared using file sharing service https://workspaces.acrobat.com/, https://drive.google.com/, https://www.dropbox.com/, ...

Joomal 3.6.3 update error - PHP temporary folder is not set - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
