With Knoll Light Factory how do you get rid of the pinpoint of light that overlap obscuration layer?
i have klf 3.0 on ae cs6, trying add nice flare keyed footage of rock star music video...
i set looks light behind him , want him obscure bit when moves around... however, can't rid of little pinpoint of light have source! obscuration layer works properly, crosses it dims light, light doesn't totally disappear when he's in front of "source"! there's still little pinpoint crosses on him ruining effect i'm going for!
does know how rid of little artifact?
i've tried tweaking settings no avail...
thanks all!

interesting. have experienced similar problem involving knoll lens flare effect (v. 3.0) , obscuration, in case 3d text, backlit knoll flare applied background layer. flare moved across , behind text , faded in , out either side of text within comp frame via keyframed opacity settings. pinpoint of light appeared against background @ end of flare's path (beyond text) on opacity keyframe mistakenly adjusted 1% instead of 0%. after re-setting 0% , ram previewing pinpoint of light remained. couldn't eliminated. permanent , visible in rendered output. quick way eliminate replace background layer new one, add new knoll lens flare effect, copy , paste keyframes original knoll effect, check opacity indeed set 0 @ total fade-out frame , render/playback again. pinpoint gone. puzzling. not sure if what's happening in case though.
