Robo v9 Show/Hide without Twisties - One button no longer working

hey there, stated using robo v9 show/hide without twisties (one button) javascipts.  have of our images using dhtml drop-downs , when folks click on "show images" on page, gif changes "hide images" , drop-downs (our images) , expanding text diaplayed.

 

it had been working time, works when right click topic in toc , choose "edit topic", while in edit window (display view), when view (ctrl-w) , displays page within robohelp..i can click "show images" , works had.  but, if page not in edit window, , right click "preview topic", click "show images" (or on dhtml dropdown itself) not show images, *but gif image toggle "hide images" (and if again, toggles "show images" gif, if again), no images getting displayed reason.  never works when publish our website (even when clicking dhtml dropdown itself), gif images toggle properly.

 

if right click , choose "preview topic" , click "view with" , use internet explorer 8 still never works anymore, unless topic in edit window (display view), know issue not on server.  stops working after generate , run on pc.  when view ie8 within robo (and allow blocked content run scripts), many instances of same error shown as:

...but *do* have access folder system, in checking coding of ehlpdhtm.js, area show, believe line 2646, character 3 starts @ "values = getattribute(element, prop );" line below...but maybe not exist:

i have older backup when restored, works again in cases, have done work since think need manually redone.  have played keeping javascipts alone (in case changed something) , updated rest of data files had added, deleted .cpd file, somehow stops working again, updated file.  not sure specific files causing negative impact preventing working.  maybe if knew files impact, couldrestore old backup.  newer backups when restored not work properly, there point in time changed , causing this.

 

all prior versions of robohelp (v7 , v8) have worked , still do.  using v9.0.1.262, latest version has not yet been allowed on our pcs (per security), since earlier backup works, thought may not issue, wanted tell anyway.  ;->

 

any ideas on how should proceed?  files may have impact cause not work anymore?  showhide.js .js show baggage file.  also, dhtml line exits in each html page's code, still using robo v7 production software , show/hide works, , copy them respective robo v9 folders (and if new, copy them, import them), otherwise newer v7 updated pages copied on older v9 html files while robohelp closed.

there different versions it's hard happening without knowing version using.
