Thread: Wow crash

i got linux i'm boog newb of it. have gotten latest version of ubuntu , wine went download world of warcraft. have followed directions on ubuntu guide found online when try launch wow (this while still downloading in available stage) makes noise nothing. cant open wine, wow, or installer.

which of 95 thousand "guides" did use?

rule of thumb, odds of getting wow run when still d/ling slim none, wait.

things out are:
  • run in opengl mode (i add '-opengl' end of launch command)
  • turn off desktop effects (look option in login screen)
  • use latest proprietary drivers vidcard/chip (search forum "wow intel" how attempt deal intel. nvdia , ati/amd easier)
  • run wow in xp mode (use 'winecfg' set mode).
  • some have issues sound. try turning off in bios narrow things down.

Joomal 3.6.3 update error - PHP temporary folder is not set - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi -- after after loading files of joomla 3.5 program, went site , tried open complete installation. got message: fatal error: require_once(): failed opening required '/homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/libraries/import.legacy.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php5.5') in /homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/includes/framework.php on line 15 ran fpa program. hope way make available here. http://gnustories.org/fpa-en.php winku your domain name seems not working - not showing fpa report php page holding page generated isp (1 & 1) the easier way generate report fpa script , copy reply of thread (that intended way done). suggest review instructions on generating report makes format suitable forum.
