DWT or HTML - BC can't decide?

i have 2 sites - call them 'o' (webbasics+) , 'a' (webmarketing). template files site 'o' .dwt files while template files site 'a' .html files... far can recall created both same way; make new template in bc, download dw , pate in content. 

 

for reason though, site 'a' refuses use .dwt files.  if upload .dwt file gets turned .html file.  if template, downloads html file dw gets mad when try use template-specific options , wants me re-save .dwt.  if upload .dwt, gets added folder bc still using .html version.

 

site 'o' on other hand, makes templates .dwt files.  make new blank template, save , shows in templates folder 'whatever.dwt'.  download .dwt play of template features, save no problem , re-upload .dwt.

 

why there difference?  don't want .html files templates... want .dwt files!

if use latest bc plugins hook .dwt files of dreamweaver. bc though uses .html files templates. bc plugin converts .dwt files during uploading .html files.

you wont downloading .dwt files in bc @ all, not suppor them, reverse publishing them , dw again converting them .dwt .html.

i not use dw myself many reasons, including crazy .dwt file format example if use other applications coda 2 use .html bc uses templates.

 

not sure why have 2 different things there sounds viewing online , downloading bc rather correct method have dwt conversion dw , bc plugin use.
