Where are my paragraph and character styles being applied?

i have old indesign document want clean , build new document from. ideally use style panel locate styles applied in document rather clicking on each , every bit of text see style applied.

 

is possible , explain?

you can see paragraph styles listed down left edge in story editor...

 

you can use find/change locate style...

 

perhaps easiest thing do, though assign character colors different each style in style defintions, , rainbow colored text ought make things easy find.
