hi guys

have alienware m17 specs below:

intel mobile core 2 quad q9100
4gb ram
intel pm45
ati mobility radeon hd 3870 x2 - 512 mb
ati hd 2xxx hdmi @ ati rv670
marvell yukon 88e8055 pci-e gigabit ethernet
intel wireless wifi link 5300

problem i'm having can install ubuntu or ubuntustudio 11.10 using alternate disc after reboot when select ubuntu 11.10 grub, blank screen or screen block of brown across top , black under it. i've tried using both x86 , x64 disc's. i've tried using external monitor via vga same result. has gotten 11.10 or 11.04 running on 1 of these machines?

might issue graphic driver. remove xorg.conf if exist.

Joomal 3.6.3 update error - PHP temporary folder is not set - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
