i'm converting grey-scale tif files of scanned sheet music pdf acrobat 9 pro , having trouble halos of grey pixels appear around in pdf. weren't there in tif. can't see them when print document, i'm wondering if these artifacts increasing file-size of pdf. plus annoy me. there way rid of these, other using "optimize scanned pdf" after conversion has been done? this typical of jpeg compression. aren't there, jpeg bit random @ edges , halos can appear. see if there options save tiff zip pdf rather jpeg - jpeg poor scanned text , lines. hello, flemish, english might sound bit strange. installed 11.10 provides thunderbird email-client. have 3 individual mail-boxes, 1 gmail. installed them in thunderbird sending , receiving mail. installed mail-notification duly informs me of mail receive - stuff. question follows: when receive mail, open thunderbird read it. automatically set 'read'. annoys me have open every individual box @ time or other set mail there manually 'read'. double work. there way ensure that, after 1 read one's mail in thunderbird, mail automatically set 'read' in box sent to. must add mailboxes use pop3 protocol. man, don't see issues english, looks fine me... don't believe can in thunderbird when pulled believes read. my contacts page shows filter field label (preceded "unpublished") , field "contact filter search". i remove filter field, can't find in settings controlled. i set contacts > list layouts – filter field hide; no impact on front-side. inspect components > contacts > categories; there no settings imply filter. not sure "unpublished" notice or comes from. any welcome. sounds may using template other default template such protostar comes joomla! to check whether template related problem, suggest using protostar template style default template style. also, make sure disable framework such t3 while testing. if needed test done in fresh install of joomla! i have module shows last 3 articles category. using "read more" in articles , works fine, can see intro of articles, if click "read more" url changes article otherwise page loads before, nothing changes , can see intro of last 3 articles. seems can't see main text @ all. in other words, page identical before , after clicking "read more", url changes. on article editor single article shows fine, main text too. i have tried multiple different components , result same. what problem? i suspect don't have menu item pointing towards each 1 of these articles. correct?
