Issues re-installing adobe premiere pro cs5.5 Family

hello all,

 

i hope guys can me out on this, not sure correct topic.

i've been working adobe premiere pro cs 5.5 while now, allways ran perfect on machine:

 

 

computer specs

ibm lenovo thinkpad t420

core i5

8 gigabyte ram

windows 7 professional

native resolution 1366 x 768

 

 

description

last week, wanted install adobe after effects 5.5 , went wrong.. (i excidentally swtiched folders , premiere pro got corrupted when wanted start program). tried install again, keep getting same error: see below.

 

 

these steps i've allready tried

• i've tried adobe cleanup program adobe provides clean remaining files, , used un-installer delete remaining keys in registry etc.
• i've tried same install package on other computer works perfect.
• i've tried adobe cs 6 pro 30-days trial , working fine.
• i've tried install adobe after effects 5.5 gives me same error.
• i've tried solution : http://forums.adobe.com/message/3659097#3659097 microsoft_vc80_crt_x86 replaced x64
  

 

 

 

this error keep getting;

hi all,

 

i've got combination of solutions working i've read on forums , solution worked atleast adobe premiere pro cs 5.5 family:

 

solution adobe premiere pro cs 5.5 family:

browse \installation\adobe cs5.5\payloads

 

1: start backing files gave error in log: in case, first gave error on "microsoft_vc80_crt_x86" later when fixed .msi package gave error on "microsoft_vc90_crt_x86" file. made backup of 2 folders indicated "red" in picture below.

 

2: copy green directory, files in image below

 

 

3. paste 2 files x86 folder in image below, delete 2 files indicated red image below, , adjust new files same name files deleted:

 

 

4: have twice different errors.

 

extra step 5: i'm mentioning step because im not sure if helped, uninstalled msi files sure there nothing left behind of old installer.

 

hope helps, try same after effects , let know if works.
