Thread: Missing Firmware Ubuntu 11.10 and Dell

hello,

have installed fresh install of ubuntu 11.10 on machine, dual boots windows pro

seems working except wireless internet - dell wireless 1470 dual band mini pci card

have tried install ndiswrapper, no avail.

ideas do?

majority of time, "dell" wireless cards broadcom. broadcom difficult company deal on platform, let alone linux. easiest thing plug in internet via ethernet cable, navigate "additional drivers." once there, see if broadcom entry comes up. once installed, reboot, , see if wireless behaves accordingly.

Joomal 3.6.3 update error - PHP temporary folder is not set - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
