Can no longer open my login page - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello,

i'm new joomla.
i've been taking online course on joomla.
i installed wamp - joomla.

several times i've logged in new site i'm building, , made few changes, while following along in course i'm doing.
today when went log in, "404 not found" error when type localhost/administrator in address bar.
if go 'c:wamp\www' directory , double click index.php - asks me want use open file.
i can see green "w" in task bar services wamp, including php , running fine.

any suggestions how fix this, , explanation may have caused this?

what happens if rename .htaccess file name? still have same problem?

also, have installed "admin tools" on website - if did, might have changed login url website.

Joomal 3.6.3 update error - PHP temporary folder is not set - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
