Thread: Change rotation mail.* from weekly to daily

hi there,

i'm new ubuntu , worked rh systems.

on ubuntu 10.04 lts want change logrotation of mail.info, mail.warn etc files weekly daily. simple task in /etc/logrotate.d....but not in ubuntu.

how can set ubuntu 10.04 lts logrotate maillogs on daily basis?

in advanced,

roland

edit /etc/logrotate.d/rsyslog. works same way in ubuntu in rh-flavored systems. remove mail-related items file , place them in custom definition file in /etc/logrotate.d directory.
