After Effects continues to produce errors when rendering with QT
to whom may concern,
ae continues offer crash "bad output module" error 10 seconds rendering qt file.
this has been intermittent issue on last couple of cs iterations , solved uninstalling qt and/or ae , re-installing, since january--nothing helps.
i've rolled previous versions of qt, uninstalled , reinstalled. i've updated , reinstalled adobe can find on hardware--including removing older versions , in recent iteration of persistent flaw cs6 , qt freshly installed on new hd little else interfere.
i've systematically deleted individual codecs in effort isolate errant unit without success, altered tcp handles suggested in todd kopriva on blog (http://blogs.adobe.com/aftereffects/2011/02/troubleshooting-quicktime-errors-with-after-ef fects.html). i've scoured cc , monkeyed qtcore , mediacore suggested heavily cs5.5 users, these misguided anyway cs6 has unique render engine architecture if pass along @ user group believed.
of interesting note, ae render in h.264 selected outside of qt option, , workaround until recent update of ae has seemed somehow restrict these files being opened qt though thumbnail generates , file opens flawlessly in vlc.
i aware question has been asked in 4 different ways @ least dozen times since cs5 rolled out , while volley of suggestions litter web--a viable solution remains elusive--at least rig(s).
specs on rig1: dual xeon e5-2670, asus z9ped8ws, 64gb ram, win7pro, adobecloud--ae 11.0.2, dualgtx680's (sli), dedicated disc cache ae: 300mb velociraptor
specs on rig2: dual xeon 5680's, evga classified sr-2, 32gb ram, win7pro, adobecloud--ae 11.0.2, dual quadro 5000's (sli), dedicated ssd ae: 256mb class2 series2
