Thread: Installing Windows OS after installing Ubuntu 11-10

hi,

i've bought asus k53e laptop came windows 7 os preinstalled. rather stupidly, realise (i live in japan , in japanese!), deleted when installed ubuntu 11-10 os. partition hd install older version of windows xp alongside ubuntu. need use windows empress presentations, there interface problems between computer , slide projector.

possible install windows on unpartitioned hd running ubuntu? tried inserting windows cd stops after couple of minutes claiming hd unsuitable/infected etc. guess i'd need partition hd first - how do this, disk utility or using ubuntu start-up cd , partitioning there reinstalling ubuntu alongside ubuntu, were?

i'd grateful advice, though have feeling can done in reverse order, i.e., installing ubuntu alongside windows os installed.

windows wants operating system on hard disk , not offer type of dual boot option when powered on. ubuntu, on other hand, offer option boot windows or ubuntu.

Joomal 3.6.3 update error - PHP temporary folder is not set - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi -- after after loading files of joomla 3.5 program, went site , tried open complete installation. got message: fatal error: require_once(): failed opening required '/homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/libraries/import.legacy.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php5.5') in /homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/includes/framework.php on line 15 ran fpa program. hope way make available here. http://gnustories.org/fpa-en.php winku your domain name seems not working - not showing fpa report php page holding page generated isp (1 & 1) the easier way generate report fpa script , copy reply of thread (that intended way done). suggest review instructions on generating report makes format suitable forum.
