Thread: TCP/IP stack modification

hello,

willing modify source of tcp/ip stack, precisely arp portion of ethernet. don't know if there legal issue that, in case please let me know.
unable find these codes reside on system. hunted same on internet , found out file named arp.c takes care of arp part of system. unable locate on ubuntu. looking comprehensive text of how these data link layer modules interact each other (inter layer , intra layer), can plan way proceed.
1 having resource on same, please guide me through. if not ubuntu please let me know other variants know or variant have maximum freedom documentation allow me proceed idea.

you need download actual kernel source, not use pre-compiled kernel.

can latest kernel source github , modify stack until heart's content.

Joomal 3.6.3 update error - PHP temporary folder is not set - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
