Layer vs Background

in previous versions of pse first layer of new file tagged background , locked.  in pse 11 regular layer.  change in program or have missed in setup?

it's still same. background layer if open regular photo, there circumstances layer 0, if make new file object copied image, or if choose transparency background option when creating new file. background layers can't transparent. makes absolutely no difference, if reason want background layer, go layer>new>background layer.

i have small box slides bottom right of webpage asking if want participate in survey related site. i plan remove/modify survey pop cant find located in joomla control panel. i've searched modules on home page menu comes up, template index.php, extensions, plugins, modules cant find related it. where commonly located ? suggest go extensions>manage>manage , order on id descending. show extensions added joomla. id's >10000. must 1 of them! Error when I try to record application simulation in Adobe Presenter 8

hello, have 30 day trial of adobe presenter 8 , subscription adobe captivate 6.  record application simulation within presenter, receive error after entering swf-name states captivate cannot started , check see if captivate configured run in administrator mode.
