Thread: missing netx.jar and plugin.jar in java-6-openjdk

i following in netbeans:
have no file /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk/jre/lib/netx.jar
have no file /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk/jre/lib/plugin.jar

these files listed in
>> ubuntu >> packages >> maverick >> openjdk-6-jre-lib >> >> filelist

inside synaptic have installed both openjdk-6-jre-lib , openjdk-7-jre-lib. checked /usr/lib/jvm/... , agree message files not there.

question: need in order install them?

did find answer? found questionable responses online advising grab these files other java distributions, e.g. windows java installation. doesn't sound right. these jars missing in 12.04. download java web-site includes jars since open jdk claims compatible should include jars.

Upgrade 3.4.8 to 3.5.1 failed "download package failed" - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
