Automatic removal of colour fringing of Panasonic lenses on Olympus body (micro 43) possible?
hi,
last week sold panasonic gh2 , bought olympus om-d e-m5. 14-45 panasonic lens shows nasty purple colour fringing om-d (not ordinary green-purple chromatic aberration, purple fringing on both sides of highly exposed items, such steel wheel covers). never(!!) saw gh2. fortunately can correct in lightroom. go (in develope module) lenscorrections - colour - remove edge (purple). works well, , know can synchronise affected images. have done automatically, lightroom automatically removes colour faults when using micro four-thirds panasonic lenses micro four-thirds panasonic body. done through special data supplied panasonic read , implemented lightroom (i believe).
unfortunately doesn't work when using panasonic lens on olympus body, reason question. can make own profile using adobe profile creator automatically remove chromatic abberations. reading tutorial impressions these profiles remove normal chrom. aberration, not special purple colour fringing talking about. so: there way automate fringing, or have work on affected images in lightroom using technique described?
thanks lot help!
willem
before work creating profile, why not create develop preset?
then can apply preset on import images taken lens , camera.
