Thread: Software Center crashed because of Platinum arts sandbox

hello everyone,
did search on forum, , found many people have had same problem i, mine little different. installed platinum arts sandbox gamemaker ubuntu software center , crashed in middle, after several reboots , attempts @ trying remove it still doesn't let me install/uninstall anything. want install other packages , goes fine until 75%(example) says "applying changes" , shows dpkg gui no content , freezes there.

apt-get remove sandboxgamemaker not work
error -> "e: dpkg interrupted, must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' correct problem."

apt-get update/upgrade doesn't work
update error -> update in end shoes above error.
upgrade error -> same error above above.

if run command line dpkg --configure -a starts downloading package no longer want plus, freezes @ 3% time.

run update manager same, says packages not installed , starts downloading. (freezing in 3%)

not want install xubuntu again... can me out? believe did came in search, still not working...

p.s: i'm using xubuntu 11.04 fresh installation. kinda urgent me.
