from one symbol to another....

hi there..

can control 1 symbol symbol via symbol?

so far have not been succesful.

if 1 hold button , anoher hold light has on , off animation..

how button action look?

i've been working on myself lot of here!

i think know trying do:

create symbol has on , off animation. @ end of animation add "stop" (<command t or control t in windows?). , click on stop.

at beginning of symbol animation, add label (command l) , give name, "in" without quotes.

in main timeline, add symbol stage clicking in library , dragging want play. add trigger , chose "stop" in timeline.

now chose action (click) clicking on hte {} symbol left of animation in timeline, chose "+" chose "click". add following line:

sym.getsymbol("the name of symbol used in timeline").play("in");

that should :-)

ps - same chosing "getsymbol" , adding the ".play (labelname"); @ end...
