How to properly import from Illustrator?

when copy geometry clipboard , paste muse, there black rectangle around actual geometry can not select. there way make work?

you might consider trying save finished work in adobe illustrator , changing on adobe muse , utilizing "place" command in "file" menu allows open saved adobe illustrator file , import muse setting choose place it.  i'm guessing features working in illustrator not yet available in edition of muse able edit , adjust illustrator item within muse setting.  you'll want continue edit file in illustrator , long file name saved under , placed in muse setting remains same, editions adobe illustrator file change instantly in adobe muse well.  option save within illustrator photoshop file , again placing muse setting.  nice photoshop format keeps layers , functions , can right click item in muse setting , select "edit original" open item in photoshop , can instantly edit require, hit save , change instantly take place in muse.  might case illustrator items, understanding , experience still working on more integrating illustrator within muse (like have photoshop) in future editions.
