first of , thank great option on editor .

but note important thing think must have deep please :

the " images drag&drop " works :

drag image editor ,
the image saved on server , still on server (in images folder or folder chosed in editor sittings) .

please think image draged wrong , delete editor , drag instead , .... old 1 still on server .

think pc turn off or shutdown because reason , article not save image / images still there on server if admin dont know , drags again message popup tell him image there , here admin force use old way insert image (after search first if dont know)

think when admin drag 10 or 20 images , sort them text
and network cut off ........

my suggestions ::
1-
dont save image on server before save article or component use editor .
2-
if admin delete image editor (that saved or not saved) , delete server .

note :
if evry image still there , server hold alot of not using images .

imho makes sense in cases. there lot of cases want upload images not linked article (eg banner or slide shows )

impending lead lot of overhead have manage in code.

an if transaction fail have start over. @ least images in right location on server.
