Thread: How uninstall a program without leave any traces?

hi, experienced problems cheese software, remove , install again , again , appears same problem when tried open it, window in black, thinking doesn't install because must maybe files or previous installations. here attach screen shot terminal when tried open it, after it, programs open window black , not allow me use option.
i'm running ubuntu 11.10.

enter following 2 commands
sudo apt-get purge cheese
sudo apt-get autoremove

first command removes cheese
second command removes left on libs.
