moderated rating component - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i need extension allow me assign users review/ rate specific content;the main thing need totally control assignment process, cannot registered users, etc..

just clarify :

(a) asking actual ratings extension itself, or
(b) asking how control users can access it?

(your question seems address both matters).

if former, there many ratings tools in jed (https://extensions.joomla.org/category/ ... -a-reviews), if latter, acl system built joomla allows control users can in site.

for example, have users can sign site, "registered" users. if wanted of raters/reviewers, create separate user group, , place selected users "raters-reviewers" user group , rating/review extension ensure permissions set user group, "rates-reviewers" , way normal registered users wouldn't have access.

so joe bloggs , bill bloggs can members of both "registered" , "rater-reviwer" , access appropriate extnesion "jill bloggs" "registered" , therefore won't see or have access.

you control can , see through acl settings e.g. assigned menu items, , components, , modules.

you don't need specific extension assign permissions - that's built joomla. mention though there helpful extension might useful called "acl made easy", enhances built-in capability of acl in visual way make easier understand -https://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extension/access-a-security/site-access/acl-manager
