hi there, guess requires bit of information, i'm trying recover image files sd 2 gb card, or computer, on card deleted manually, , on computer lost when replaced windows xp ubuntu, @ time thought safe in usb, turns out weren't.

right i'm fumbling around scalpel, using this guide, problem wants specific directory search, , since in windows, have no idea tell now. seems unable search sd card, because searches home/ , subdirectories of this.

anyways, know of way recover images lost in change of os? or know how recover deleted images specific device?

please me recover honeymoon photos, wont have die @ hands of wife.

as far pics on hd, have no idea point there.

have no idea if work, potentially mount sd card under home directory?

however, wouldn't try yet if you- data written sd card destroy pics if aren't destroyed already. i'm 95% n00b, i'm not sure safe , wouldn't, , situation imo deserves lot of care.

also, dd? safe? make image of sd card, scan scalpel think, due low-level copying capacity of dd?
