Thread: Installation error and Grub error with 11.10

hi there. interest.

tried replace ubuntu 10.10 clean installation of ubuntu 11.10 on dual boot machine. both 32-bit , 64-bit installation cds ubuntu 11.10 crash black screen white cursor before should present "try ubuntu" , "install ubuntu" options.

using bootable usb stick i'm able start , finish 64-bit installation. however, when booting pc afterwards, instead of grub following error: "error: invalid arch independent elf magic" grub rescue command line. boot-repair not able solve error.

system has efi.

pc specifications:
packard bell ixtreme i6803
intel i5 2300
msi r5670-pmd1g/oc
4gb ddr3
1tb hd

in advance help.

grub (and therefore ubuntu , windows) working again after replacing broken ubuntu 11.10 clean installation of ubuntu 10.10.

i'll keep ubuntu 10.10 until find solution in topic or on forums. or... until ubuntu 12.10.

Upgrade 3.4.8 to 3.5.1 failed "download package failed" - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi -- after after loading files of joomla 3.5 program, went site , tried open complete installation. got message: fatal error: require_once(): failed opening required '/homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/libraries/import.legacy.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php5.5') in /homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/includes/framework.php on line 15 ran fpa program. hope way make available here. http://gnustories.org/fpa-en.php winku your domain name seems not working - not showing fpa report php page holding page generated isp (1 & 1) the easier way generate report fpa script , copy reply of thread (that intended way done). suggest review instructions on generating report makes format suitable forum.
