i have acer 1 netbook d257-13478, 1gb ram , 256 gb hdd, intel atom processor , windows 7 per-installed. ubuntu version shall use 10.04 or 11.10.?i planing use ubuntu along windows 7. faced problems while installing ubuntu 10,04 along windows 7. easy install 11.10 along windows 7? "unity" environment use lot of ram ?

not being expert here stay 10.04 or 10.10.
need more ram.
, believe atom processor weak. if remember right reduced size / capability processor little netbooks? right????

besides upgraded 11.10 , did not it.
without lot of reconfiguring, not rid of unity desktop. believe sucks.
first click side menubar, if program's not there, have click dash, if program not listed have either click again expand list or click 1 of filter tabs on right.
way many clicks before want.
plus when divided hard drive up, wanted 1 section ntfs windows compatibility. formatted read no other option. took 3 hours of searching posts find correction.
nope think better staying 10.10 or maybe 11.04.
wiping drive , reinstalling 11.04 prefer classic gnome menu, easier want.
if preview of future ubuntu, won't upgrade ever again
