Change photo shape

how change photo oval , feather it?

1) if image on background layer, unlock (drag padlock trash can)

2)use ellipse tool, drag out circle shape want

3)right click on ellipse layer , rasterize circle.

4)drag ellipse layer below image

5)hold down alt key , click inbetween 2 layer (create clipping mask) {at point image should inside of sharp edge circle transparent background}

6)right click on ellipse layer , convert smart object

7)select filter>blur>gaussian blur set blur taste..
