Thread: libreoffice quickstarter icon gone after reboot

this not major issue though it'd nice if fix it:

i've installed libreoffice on xubuntu 11.10 + enabled "quickstarter". icon appears on top taskbar, though - after re-booting - it's no longer there. gets on taskbar after launching libreoffice writer menu.

idea?

open terminal , type
code:
sudo nano /usr/lib/libreoffice/share/xdg/qstart.desktop
find line reads
code:
exec=libreoffice3.4 --quickstart --nologo --nodefault
change to
code:
exec=libreoffice --quickstart --nologo --nodefault
press ctrl-x , press y save.
