Thread: Upgrade to 11.10 or stay with 11.04?

it kinda lonf post appreciate patience! read , maybe find feeling similar feel.


start system specs:
i5-2500k, asus p8p67 m pro mobo, nvidia gtx460 1g, 2x4g 1600mhz gskill ram

whiped ubuntu 11.04 , installed oneiric fresh install. frankly, didn't new one. because of unity , gnome3. mean settings have become more hidden before. example not able find way disable bluetooth daemon starting every login; there option add new startup entry)) etc etc.. tried install gnome-shell buggy; no proper resizing windows.. compiz doesn't work , in general dislike docs funny icons. menus clear , finding program doesn't have started remembering name of it. example if want see load on cpu. have remember application need called system monitor , click on dash , type "system". annoying. used click on menu , see options available , choose need.
tried xubuntu 11.10!! great except blurry fonts , grayish colors. installed "freetype" package , played fonts settings ,maybe looks bit better still fonts not in gnome , colors still not bright in gnome. feel kinda frustrated.
strange thing nvidia driver in oneiric. when i'm not doing stays in performance mode 0 should be. if point on opened window, performance mode jumps straight maximum - 3. , gpu starts hot somewhere 50 c compared 32 in performance mode 0. don't need gpu running full time in maximum performance mode.
problem older nvidia driver (270 if i'm not wrong) came in 11.04 opposite new one, because stayed in performace mode 0 tough running heavy compiz effects , because of felt sluggish.

now i'm in dilemma: stay oneiric , wait become stable , mature or install older natty????
must natty didn't feel perfect @ least not annoying oneiric problem support stopped in october next year. in case oneiric wins 'cause supported till april 2013. i'm sick , tired of reinstalling every half year because new version out.

please me sort out. 11.10 or 11.04??????
