Albums vs Folders

new user pse11. recommended photos in albums or idea photos in albums subset of photos in folders? sort , search functionality, don't understand benefit of albums.

name image folders using standard naming convention date embedded makes them rather easy manage.

am missing here?

the main benefit of organizer gives tools different folders, , in opinion, superior organizing folders. tools tags, captions , notes.

 

what want maximum benefit of organizer add tags of photos (and optionally captions , notes), , use searching, instead of searching date based folders. photo can have many many tags, , long strings of text in captions , notes enable search, whereas photo can in single folder; , difficult if not impossible search across folders, , difficult if not impossible add long strings of text identify photos if using folder organization.
