Thread: Hotkeys not working with ACPI

hello!

use ubuntu 11.10 on fujitsu siemens amilo mini. has special keys (fn+f1 etc.) toggle wifi or adjust screen brightness. however, not working in ubuntu, never did since 8.04.

if boot acpi=off, work fine. side effect, i915 driver fails load, not option.

there way selectively switch on pieces of acpi, not everything?
there way adjust acpi drivers in order keys working? more happy provide useful information , kind of testing.

of course, laptop's acpi implementation might buggy. there should workaround, on windows xp , during boot works.

Upgrade 3.4.8 to 3.5.1 failed "download package failed" - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
