ClassLoader.php errors with 3.6.2 > 3.6.3 update - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

my joomla , extension files current (3.6.2) prior performing 3.6.3 update. update appears going properly, showing progress bar, following errors:

notice: undefined index: joomla\application\ in d:\[my_path]\libraries\vendor\composer\classloader.php on line 353

warning: invalid argument supplied foreach() in d:\[my_path]\libraries\vendor\composer\classloader.php on line 353

fatal error: class 'joomla\application\abstractapplication' not found in d:\[my_path]\libraries\joomla\application\base.php on line 23

with error reporting set default, generates blank page. same errors occur admin , front end.

when clear cache, page load once. navigation or further cache clears result in same errors.

this second site have tried update giving me these errors. first site have rolled back. site simple install, thought might work first try, or easier troubleshoot. both sites on same server.
