Thread: Audio Overload doesn't play from menu.


(note: following relates old version of ubuntu - 6.10 precise.)

after placing audio overload in applications menu, found though loaded, wouldn't play files.

error message stated /dev/dsp/ busy. apparently, menu system sound prompted audio overload determine sound device permanently occupied.

solution have audio overload start 3 seconds after selected. simple attached script that.

place in path directory (ex: /usr/bin/ or /usr/local/bin/), , render executable users:

code:
sudo chmod -c a+rx ao.sh
then use ao.sh command audio overload in applications menu.

(i've attached icon audio overload.)
