Thread: clean install of 11.10 makes me... tired.

i looked unsuccessfully "install experiences" thread. apologies in advance if in wrong forum. longtime ubuntu user , longer-time unix user. i'm getting old , tired, guess.

wiped long-standing 10.10 off optiplex 760 , did clean install of 11.10. hour of banging head against radeon driver issues got me unmirrored display, , installing ubuntu classic desktop got me on disgust @ unity; seem have context menus in firefox working, still have no audio, i'm missing lot of tools i've come expect, , wish had backed-up 10.10 instance.

beat usable. think i've got enough geek left in me go through 1 more time before make 1 of web os'es daily driver. but, shouldn't have to. should mature os now.

i'm not asking fix anything, wanted vent little. thanks.

i hope feel better after little venting. there in fact better place venting, ubuntu testimonials & experiences. luck further.

Joomal 3.6.3 update error - PHP temporary folder is not set - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi -- after after loading files of joomla 3.5 program, went site , tried open complete installation. got message: fatal error: require_once(): failed opening required '/homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/libraries/import.legacy.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php5.5') in /homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/includes/framework.php on line 15 ran fpa program. hope way make available here. http://gnustories.org/fpa-en.php winku your domain name seems not working - not showing fpa report php page holding page generated isp (1 & 1) the easier way generate report fpa script , copy reply of thread (that intended way done). suggest review instructions on generating report makes format suitable forum.
