Thread: problems ssh'ing to my laptop from other computers

i've looked everywhere , surprisingly came nothing. managed set "openssh-server" ssh server, when try use ssh log in ( ssh -p [myport] myusername@mylaptop'sip ), shows blinking cursor , after while says connection timed out. i'm pretty sure it's because don't know how use ssh , didn't end configuring reach anywhere (i can't reach using above command mac on network). i've read ssh tutorials, assume i've been able establish connection , start talking copying files , other uses, nice have access to.

anyway, link ssh tutorial or 1 of oh-my-god-how-did-i-not-notice-thats nice. also, running 10.10 64 bit , mac has leopard if has anything. lot

if haven't done yet
might want double check firewalls between 2 computers configured accept ssh connections

uses tcp port 22

Joomal 3.6.3 update error - PHP temporary folder is not set - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
