Multilingual Status warnings and how to solve them - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi!

i have bilingual site (english , romanian) in j 3.6.2. site had swedish component. have had site several years , went through several steps of development , changes. seems working ok but... if click on multilingual status info can see in attached file.

i don't know why joomla sees "sv-se" since no longer installed. "us" have no idea it's coming from. along years tried install en-us, made mistake , deleted installation.

the installed languages en-gb, en-us , ro-ro. have installed en-us thinking maybe if i'll uninstall might rid of "us" thing. stuck sn-us since can't figure out how uninstall installed language ( :) ).

however, installed content languages en-gb , ro-ro.

i have 2 questions:

1. how can rid of en-us language?
2. why joomla complaining "en-us" , "us" and, far more important, how can solve problem?

thank in advance kind help!

ps after posting message googled little bit more , found out how rid of en-us. second question remains! :) thanks!

try following:

- go screen "languages: content" (extensions => language(s) -> content languages)
- choose content language english-usa (with language tag us) , press button titled trash
- choose content language swedish (with language code sv-se) , press button titled trash

the above steps should solve problem.

note 1:
- make sure take copy of site (both files , database content)

note 2:
once have tested site , there no errors module multilingual status, try following:
- go screen "languages: content" (extensions => language(s) -> content languages)
- click button titled "search tools"
- in dropdown "- select status -", select status "trashed"
- click button titled "empty trash"

the above steps leave no trace of content languages trashed. handy when want add these languages @ later date.
