Help with Resetting Preferences in Lightroom

i have new imac os-x 10.8  ..  having trouble adjustment brush [basically sliders not functioning correctly].     have fixed problem resetting preferences, "deleting" com.adobelightroom.plist file, restarting lightroom.       i've gone library, preferences on new imac , can't see .plist file adobe lightroom 3 or adobe photoshop cs.5.

 

i have lightroom 4 loaded on same computer can't see com.adobe ... .plist files either???

 

am looking in wrong place  ..  

 

help!!       might add adjustment brush problem seems reoccur regularly????

 

any appreciated.

you may need unhide folders can see library under user name. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4176215?start=0&tstart=0 should able navigate it.
