Joomla 3.6.4 -- configuration.php --not writeable - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i doing fresh install of joomla 3.6.4 on fresh install of centos 7 minimal server.

the issue having "configuration.php" not writeable. install go through , give screen @ end of install.

this ain't happening(arrgg)


i know linux / know joomla - not first rodeo confused why happening.

all files have been chown'd apache:apache
i have gone extent of chmod 777 each of dir: /www/ {domainname.ca} /joomla (don't hate me - had try every)

i have created "configuration.php" file in /joomla directory , chmod 777 , confirmed apache:apache. virtual host file points /var/www/{domain_goes_here.ca}/joomla , works normal index.html file.
localhost via links shows apache kicking along works outside

i have physical access server, though doing via ssh.

Joomal 3.6.3 update error - PHP temporary folder is not set - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi -- after after loading files of joomla 3.5 program, went site , tried open complete installation. got message: fatal error: require_once(): failed opening required '/homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/libraries/import.legacy.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php5.5') in /homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/includes/framework.php on line 15 ran fpa program. hope way make available here. http://gnustories.org/fpa-en.php winku your domain name seems not working - not showing fpa report php page holding page generated isp (1 & 1) the easier way generate report fpa script , copy reply of thread (that intended way done). suggest review instructions on generating report makes format suitable forum.
