Newby help with 90 day trial - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi all,

i new joomla , need getting started. looking simple alternative me create website. trying 90 day trial see if joomla fits.

i watched couple of tutorial videos started , managed editor. however, tutorial said install jce editor. possible when running 90 day trial?

if not, how can change font size , color in online version says 3.6.2?

what missing?

i assuming you're referring trial version used @ http://www.joomla.com. if correct need aware of limitations of trial. "trial version" not possible install new extensions (e.g. jce editor); can install new extensions if superuser. trial version allows experiment site administrator (not superuser).

assuming want create own website somewhere and, let's say, want call www.stephencox.com, need

1) own domain name "stephencox.com"

2) have place install joomla (purchase hosting plan commercial webhosting provider); and

3) install joomla on webhost , direct domain root folder installed joomla.
