Thread: Ubuntu and windows 7 in the same partition?!

hi every one,
need overcome following problem:
in fact have decided install ubuntu 11.10 64 bit few days ago, since beginner, had lot install it...i have followed necessary steps, @ end astonished when have realized ubuntu , w7 shared same partition ( home) , in fact have created new partitions : more clear : 1 called home / , swap partition...so mistake? appreciate suggestion remark you!
ps: ubuntu works windows 7 can't loaded ( doesn't boot if may since request froom me @ beginning repare tried , didn't work, same message again , again)
