Thread: Acer Aspire One 722 - No Sound

running ubuntu 11.04. don't have sound coming out of speakers or headphones. in sound preferences "dummy output" listed. tried opening alsamixer, says mixer not found.

both alsamixer , sound worked fine yesterday. followed instructions listed on forum enable headphones , followed instructions listed on: http://bernaerts.dyndns.org/linux/202-ubuntu-acer-ao722 improve sound. rebooted , working fine yesterday.

i'm pretty sure problems started when installed csound accident. when typed mixer in terminal, shows csound. have since removed program, , followed sound troubleshooting steps reinstall alsa no avail. appreciated.

Joomal 3.6.3 update error - PHP temporary folder is not set - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
